Clear Creek Rafting is a guided whitewater rafting company specalizing in beginner to advanced trips on Clear Creek from mid-May through mid-August, depending on water conditions. They are perfectly located in Idaho Springs, just 30 minutes west of Denver, Colorado. If you’re looking for Idaho Springs rafting trips, this is one of the most exciting adventures to add to your Colorado vacation. Whether you’re craving a fun, family-friendly rafting experience, a heart-pounding whitewater trip, or somewhere in the middle, they have a trip for you.

The Initial Challenge

Clear Creek Rafting approached iPoint for help with their very outdated website. Not only was the design lacking personality and modern appeal, the user experience was clunky and frustrating. The site's focus was split between two rafting locations, creating a lot of confusion for users and an excessive number of clicks to get to the information the visitor wanted in order to book their rafting trips. Users were left frustrated and often confused, which isn't a great experience when trying to convert website visitors into customers.

The Solution

iPoint worked with the CCR team to restructure the overall flow of information and user experience of the website. Emphasis was placed on important actions that visitors wanted to take, making sure those actions were quick to navigate and easy to find in the new design layout and navigation. iPoint made sure to highlight the Idaho Springs location without completely eliminating their other important business locations. A more adventurous and modern design was created, using real world updated photography from recent rafting trips, making the site more relatable and inviting, seeing the Clear Creek team in action. The site is vibrant and appealing to the eye. It clearly shows the trips that Clear Creek offers and allows them to more easily track which trips people are clicking on and engaging with.
