SmarterMail 5.0 Conversion
ALL CLIENTS: Antivirus and Spam filtering has been active since our new mail system was implemented for all clients. As of Friday June 6, 2008 all existing mailarmory clients have active spam and virus filtering for their domain. All other hosting clients not using mailarmory prior to the switchover, your spam and virus filtering has been deactivated from your domain. If you would like to continue this service you must contact Pete@ipoint-tech.com to be added to this service. Additional fees apply. Mailarmory clients prior to the switchover will be charged the same as they have been in the past. There have been no pricing changes for these services.
If you are a current web and email hosting client and do not currently have spam and virus filtering we are waiving the setup fee for this service during the month of June. Additional charges apply for each account under the domain, if you choose to use this service all accounts under the domain must also use the service and will be charged accordingly. If you add email accounts to your domain after a billing cycle has started, they will be charged on the next quarterly hosting billing cycle.

Email Passwords - Updated 4:15pm 6/6
Due to security reasons, all passwords for your email accounts must be changed. Go to marley.ipoint-tech.com to change your settings in SmarterMail 5.0.
The password must:
- Be at least 8 characters long
- Contain at least 1 capital letter
- Contain at least 1 number
- Contain at least 1 symbol (ex. !@#$%^&*)
Password requirements are 8 characters- one capital letter, one number and at least one symbol - this is not a bug and is necessary requirement for our mail server. The mailadmin can also reset your password without knowing the original if you should forget it at any point.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but the tougher passwords will prevent people from hacking into the system using weak passwords and using it for spam and other purposes. The password complexity is a necessary thing.
Thank you for understanding the importance of a strong password.
* Once you change you password you will need to remember to also reset it in any mail program you use besides web mail. Programs like Outlook, Outlook Express, and PDA's like the Blackberry will all need to have their passwords set the same as your new password.
